A Practice for Election Content: Day 4

Building on our toolkit from this week - Window of Tolerance, RAIN, and understanding nervous system bypass - today we're getting practical about those moments when election content threatens to pull us out of regulation.

You know that moment - thumb hovering over an inflammatory headline, or feeling compelled to dive into a tense comment section. Today's practice offers a simple reset tool for exactly these situations.

In the video, I share:

  • A pause and reset practice

  • How to catch yourself before reactive engagement

  • Ways to stay informed while staying regulated

  • The power of clear boundaries (featuring my favorite sign from the ICA in Boston). We are often encouraged to resist settling limits and lean in to Overwork. It’s a reminder that boundary setting can signal positivity and kindness.

See you tomorrow for Day 5!
